I've worked on film sets for many years. I'm often asked to capture these unique working environments using film or photographs.
Since 2016 I’ve filmed EPK & Behind The Scenes material for large scale commercial productions. Lucasfilm ITV Red Planet Pictures
"Hana's shots are very well composed, she has a clear eye for strong sequences. Her work was a pleasure to edit."
Thomas Bowes, Calling The Shots
I film and photograph arts performances and events. The showreel on this page includes some of the gorgeous work I've pointed cameras at.
"Hana is a joy to work with, she totally got the brief, she was always on hand to talk to and she went above and beyond to deliver a compelling and engaging short film in time and on budget. I would have no hesitation of working with her again, in fact I can’t wait for the next opportunity."
Sasha Dobrota- Pavilion Dance South West
I run curriculum enrichment film workshops in schools. I collaborate with kids and their teachers to lift in-depth lessons off the page. These productions are child-lead and produce hilarious, good quality results.
"Hana is an absolute star professional to work with. She is creative, talented, dedicated and brings out the very best in children. Hana uses children's ideas as the stimulus and skilfully guides them through all the stages of making a quality product. At the same time there is focus on key skills, both in terms of filmmaking and working as a team.
Hana works on different projects ranging from animation to interactive films. As part of a Performing Arts project with 16 local primary schools, she worked with children from each school to make short films. Everyone involved has gained so much inspiration from working with Hana; I couldn't recommend her highly enough."

Where would we be without each other?
I run workshops for, and film and photograph at community projects, celebrations and events all over the country but especially in Cornwall & Devon.
"Hana is an incredible artist, not only because her filmmaking is top quality but because her people skills are equally fantastic. It doesn't matter what your background, experience or confidence, Hana is able to find a way connect people through art and she encourages original ideas and creativity from everyone. I have had the opportunity to work with and observe Hana working across a wide range of community settings. Community members ask after her long after she has worked with them."
Gemma Smith- Take A Part
Sometimes I'm asked to guide emerging filmmakers and artists in their creative practice. I get a genuine kick out of helping people explore their professional next steps.
"As a Producer Hana is fully engaged in the project in hand and is both supportive and engaging, yet also she encourages a space for individuals to develop their own understanding. I've gained valuable knowledge from having her as a Mentor, she has influenced my foundational training."
Jemima Fahy- Director Impetus
I'm usually looking for the 'aaand relax' moment just after a smile or pose. If you're into 'natural' shots, bursts of energy or people glued on a task they're passionate about- I'm your woman.
More often than not, I’m outside, having a look.
I'm hands-on. I make, paint and draw. Each of these skills can come in very useful on set. I can whip-up a prop, bang out a storyboard or capture a landscape where it's needed.
Often I cart an idea about for a long while before the right opportunity to exorcise it comes around. I’m interested in sense of place and slightly off key, curious themes.
"Hana’s work was a revelation. I can’t even remember how we first crossed paths, but her reputation preceded her, so I knew she was a safe bet amongst a tricky pick for the inaugural ‘Cruel & Curious Sea’ event.
And boy, did things work out well. Hana really took the theme to heart, and the resulting, multi-media exhibit blew minds that firstnight - not least my own. Evocative, immersive… I’m not exaggerating when I say it was one of my favourite exhibits.
Since then, Hana has created sublime exhibits for a further two shows, and has an open invite to appear in any more I curate."
